In 1918, during the First World War, 1.2 million American soldiers where involved in this battle along with 800.000 frenchmen. Seen here are Marshal Ferdinand Foch with General "Blackjack" Pershing and sergeant Alvin York.

Nicha Sursock
Egyptian born Lebano-Croatian artist, born in 1951, currently residing between Vienna and Split in Croatia. Studied film direction in Brussels and started a career as an illustrator in l'Orient-Le Jour, a leading Lebanese daily and le progrès égyptien.
